With an emphasis on business,
land use and real estate law,
L. Randolph Skidmore counsels
a wide range of individuals,
business entities and non-profit
organizations.
In particular, Mr. Skidmore
manages issues relating to
agriculture and wine regulation
as well as the development,
construction and sale
of property and businesses.
He regularly handles matters
pertaining to securities, corporate
law, and taxes, and has provided
counsel to municipalities and
other public agencies which is a material benefit to his land use practice.
Mr. Skidmore
comes from Southern California
originally and graduated
with honors from the University
of California at Berkeley,
where he was a member of
Phi Beta Kappa. He attended
law school at the California
Western School of Law in
San Diego and was a member
of the Law Review. He was
associated with several
law firms in San Francisco,
and was named a partner in
an East Bay law firm. Mr.
Skidmore and his family then
moved to Napa in 1986 to
join Coombs & Dunlap,
LLP.
Mr. Skidmore
is active in civic affairs
and has served on the boards
of the Napa County Bar Association,
United Napa Valley Associates,
the North Bay Regional
Center and the Land Trust of Napa County. He is presently serving
on the California State Bar
Agribusiness Committee. Mr.
Skidmore lives in Napa and
enjoys creative writing, reading, tennis, and fly fishing and
recreation with his two adult
sons. |
