Amy L. Valukevich practices
primarily in the area of municipal
law and currently serves as
City Attorney for the City
of St. Helena and Town Attorney
for the Town of Yountville. Ms.
Valukevich's current practice
includes advice and litigation
services in land use and development,
environmental regulation, public
contracting, and other practice
areas common to public agencies.
She also assists clients working
with public agencies, including
developers, consultants, and
contractors. She has
experience in employment law,
including discrimination and
harassment, wage and hour disputes,
and labor negotiations.
Ms.
Valukevich received her B.A.
in Interdisciplinary Studies
with a concentration in Public
Policy from the University
of California at Berkeley.
She received her law degree
in 2001 at Boalt Hall School
of Law, where she served
as a legal advocate in the
Samuelson Law, Technology,
and Public Policy Clinic.
Her clinical practice included
assisting the non-profit
Center for Democracy and
Technology in Washington,
D.C. during Congressional
hearings on the Patriot Act. Both
during and after law school,
Ms. Valukevich served as Law
Clerk in the Berkeley City
Attorney's Office.
Born in
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,
Ms. Valukevich has lived
in Napa for the last 12 years,
and her son Alexander is
now a student at Napa High
School. She
has enjoyed serving as President
of Napa County Women Lawyers,
continuing her association
as its current Treasurer, and
has served on the Executive
Committee of the Napa County
Bar. She also enjoys
serving as a mentor attorney
for the Vintage High School
Mock Trial team and for Peer
Court, a juvenile offender
diversion program of the Criminal
Division of the Napa County
Superior Court. |
