Coombs & Dunlap, LLP attorneys are active members of our community. Our long history of public service is not limited to acting as public officials – city attorney, district attorney, judge, legislator, congressman, foreign minister, county supervisor. We are also active participants in local service organizations and non profit boards. Currently our firm is a major supporter of Legal Aide of Napa Valley, and has attorneys serving on Boards of Legal Aide of Napa Valley, Fair Housing, Napa Humane, St. Helena Skate Park and Napa Chamber of Commerce. We are members of Rotary, Kiwanis, and Leadership Napa Valley, in addition to serving on boards of various public and charter schools and local foundations and churches.

Our attorneys are fortunate to live and work in the Napa Valley and partake in the many opportunities our community has to offer. We spend time coaching youth soccer, teaching legal courses at Napa Valley College, sponsoring community events such as Napa Spring Clean, an Earth Day related community clean-up, as well as supporting fundraising events for many local organizations such as The Napa Valley Food Bank, C.O.P.E., Napa Emergency Women’s Shelter, local hospice services, schools, Napa Valley Symphony and Opera House.

We maintain the family firm attitude that was established by our founder in 1876, and continue to have a multi-generational legal team and client roster. We also have a partner who is a part owner of a family winery, and members of our firm, both past and present, gather together yearly to experience winemaking first-hand: from picking and crushing the grapes, to bottling and labeling the wine. This is just one of the examples of our dedication to fostering a team environment that translates into the best possible service for our clients.

We pride ourselves on our personal service to our clients who also value tradition, a trusting relationship with their attorneys and the most sophisticated legal services in the Valley.
