George R. Thomas, Associate

After graduating from Napa High School in 2012, Mr. Thomas went on to receive his B.A. from University of California, Santa Barbara in 2017, and his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 2020. While in law school, Mr. Thomas served as a staff editor for the Georgetown Journal of Law and Public Policy, and as a Research Assistant in the Legal Writing Department.

Prior to joining Coombs & Dunlap, LLP, Mr. Thomas was an associate in the corporate group of a large Denver-based law firm, where he advised private equity sponsors and privately held corporate clients through complex transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures. Before that, he worked for a well-respected firm in the San Joaquin Valley where he represented corporate and individual clients in both commercial litigation and transactional matters.

Mr. Thomas enjoys spending his free time golfing, playing chess, and with his family and golden retriever.
