Michelle P. Block has extensive experience in complex civil litigation and appeals that involve business torts, contracts, fraud, fiduciary abuse, and trust disputes. Focusing on plaintiff’s representation, Ms. Block has sued a billion-dollar insurance company for fraudulent representation, a top U.S. bank for theft and wire fraud, and a wealth management company operating as a professional fiduciary, among many other trustees, businesses, and bad actors. Ms. Block has successfully traced and documented concealed or stolen corporate and estate assets totaling hundreds of millions of dollars. With a proven track record of delivering positive outcomes in high-stakes matters, Ms. Block has recovered over $50 million for her clients.

Representing high-profile businesses and individuals seeking confidentiality and discretion, Ms. Block has assisted clients with corporate formation, governance, and compliance matters. With extensive experience in litigation, she helped risk-averse clients manage and mitigate their liability exposure. Ms. Block also represents fiduciaries handling large estates and managing family offices and offers a unique perspective from a litigation standpoint on estate planning services and fiduciary representation.

Ms. Block graduated from the University of California, Irvine, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology, Law & Society. Ms. Block graduated in the top 6% of her class with a Juris Doctor degree from Whittier Law School with a concentration in Intellectual Property. Before joining Coombs & Dunlap, LLP, Ms. Block represented clients in Los Angeles County, Orange County, and San Diego County.
